Comparisons
Below is a table that compares a number of common home lawn grasses. Village Green has the advantage over all the rest by combining resilience (drought and wear tolerance) with its good looks. During winter Couch and Buffalo become less active and therefore lose vigour and colour. On the other hand Village Green is active maintains its colour and handles wear.

Village Green is suited to growing in areas across Southern Australia but is not suited to the tropics. It is best suited to sites that receive more than an average of 4 hrs sunlight per day.
* We are unable to guarantee that Village Green will not produce seed heads. Under some circumstances any male sterile turf can produce seed heads but this is rare.
